WE BELIEVE that the Holy Bible is the actual Word of God given to us by our good and kind God; that Holy men of God were carried along by the Holy Spirit as they spoke the message that came from God. For feather clear description and comprehension, Bible is the potent, inerrant, infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. It is a living instructional Book that brings blessings to all who read it, obey it, practice it, and live by its demands. (James 1:22-24; Joshua 1- 8). The Holy Bible is more than long-ago events and ancient wisdom. It is God’s message of grace and truth to us today (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21), and therefore, its truth as inspired by God is without any admixture of error for its matter. The word of God in it is proven (established beyond doubt as truth); and is perfect to our soul. It is the only sufficient, certain, and infallible [without error] rule of all saving knowledge, faith, and obedience.
WE BELIEVE that the Holy Bible is the true center of Christian union and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions, shall be tried.
WE BELIEVE that the Word of God refreshes our minds while God’s Spirit renews our strength. To be born again, not only must we have God’s Word but also His Spirit, mixed with repentance and faith in our hearts.
WE BELIEVE there is one and only one living and true God whose subsistence is in and of Himself; an infinite Spirit, invisible, without body, parts or passion; who only has immortality, who dwells in the light which no man can approach; the Maker and Supreme Ruler of heaven and the earth, inexpressibly perfect and glorious in holiness, whose essence cannot be comprehended by any but Himself; who is worthy of all possible honor, confidence and love; who is immutable, immense, eternal, incomprehensible, almighty, in every way infinite, most holy, most wise, most free, most absolute; who works all things according to His own immutable and most righteous will, for His own glory; who is most loving and caring, gracious, merciful, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth; Who forgives iniquity, transgression, and sin; Who is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him; and Who, at the same time, is most just and terrible in His judgments, hating all sin and Who will by no means clear the guilty.
WE BELIEVE that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (1John 5:7)
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit in a miraculous manner, born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man was ever born or can ever be born of woman, and that He is both the Son of God and God, the Son.
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is a soul-winner. That is what He came for, lived for, died for and rose again for. He came to restore the relationship and fellowship between God and man. As to His human nature, Jesus Christ was a descendant of David. As to His divine nature, He was shown with great power to be the Son of God by being raised from death on the third day. Now He sits at the
right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2; Romans 1:2-4). He was at all points tempted just as we are, yet was without sin. Jesus Christ loves us, died for us, reigns in power for us and still prays for us.
WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit is a divine person, equal with God the Father and the Son and of the same nature; that He was active in the creation with the Father and the Son; that in His relation to the unbelieving world He restrains the evil one until God’s purpose is fulfilled; that convicts of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; that He bears witness to the Truth of the Gospel in preaching and
testimony; that He is the Agent in the New Birth; that He seals, endues, guides, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies and help the believer.
WE BELIEVE the Jesus Christ we know is Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit; that Father gave His Spirit to make us like His Son, Jesus Christ. He made a wonderful promise in John 14:16-17: “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever – the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you.” The Holy Spirit is to be with us forever. He is not known or received by everyone, but only by those who are prepared for Him. He helps us to accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour. He completely changes our lives. This is called being converted or born again.
WE BELIEVE in the personality of Satan, that he is the unholy god of this age, and the author of all the powers and kingdom of darkness, and is destined to the judgment of an eternal justice in the lake of fire.
WE BELIEVE in the Genesis account of creation and that man came by direct creation of God and not by evolution.
WE BELIEVE that man was created in innocence under the law of His maker, but by voluntary transgression fell from his sinless and happy state in consequence of which all mankind are now sinners, not only by constraint, but of choice; and therefore under just condemnation without defense or excuse.
WE BELIEVE that Sin points one to eternal death and destruction but God’s Word points one to life.
WE BELIEVE that the Salvation of sinners is wholly of Grace and not works; through the meditorial offices of the Son of God, who by the appointment of the Father, freely took upon Him our nature, yet without sin, honoured the divine law by His personal obedience, and by His death made a full and victorious atonement for our sins; that His atonement consisted not in setting us an example by His death as a martyr, but was voluntary substitution of Himself in the sinner’s place, the just dying for the unjust; Christ Jesus, the Lord, bearing our sin in His own body on the tree; that having risen from the dead, He is now enthroned in Heaven, and uniting in His wonderful person the tenderest sympathies with divine perfection, He is in every way qualified to be a suitable, a compassionate and an all-sufficient Saviour.
WE BELIEVE that Salvation is to be set free from sin and its penalties and is received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and in the cleansing power of His Blood. Each man has to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, otherwise Jesus Christ’s death will not save him.
WE BELIEVE that in order to be saved, sinners must be Born Again; that the new birth is a new creation in Jesus Christ; that it is instantaneous and not a process; that in the new birth the one died in trespasses and in sins is made a partaker of the divine nature of God and receives eternal life, the free gift of God; that the new creation is brought about in a manner above our comprehension, solely by the power of the Holy Spirit in connection with divine Truth, so as to secure our voluntary obedience to the Gospel; that its proper evidence appears in the holy fruits of righteousness and faith and newness of life.
WE BELIEVE in water baptism; that the Believer’s baptism by immersion is a declaration to the world that the believer has died and been raised together with Jesus Christ, becoming a new creation.
WE BELIEVE in baptism in the Holy Spirit; that baptism in the Holy Spirit is a separate and subsequent experience following conversion; that Holy Spirit baptism brings empowerment to live an overcoming Christian life and to be and effective witness of Christ Jesus; that when one is believer in the Holy Spirit, God’s power will come upon him as it did on the first disciples on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4); that When God’s power comes him, the Holy Spirit will affect everything about him. The Holy Spirit produces rivers of life, joy, love, peace and power to flow out of your spirit for the needs of others (John 7:37-38).
WE BELIEVE in speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4); that all who enter into the number of the body of Christ do so because they are baptized in the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:13; Romans 8:9); that speaking in tongues is the initial physical evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
